Wanted to get a good long run in at a slightly quicker pace to finish off the week. Picked a good 14 mi loop that was pretty flat and didn't have many stops. Only ended up stopping once for a quick bathroom break and another time at the light on River Rd by LV. Splits were 5:56, 5:48, 5:43, 5:46, 5:47, 5:50, 5:52, 5:58, 5:57, 5:59, 5:58, 6:02, 5:51, 5:42, 0:44.9 (5:31). Average pace was 5:52. Looking back I could've eased into it a lot more. I felt some tightness in my left hip a few miles in but decided to push through it. It got worse as the run went on but nothing bad enough to stop me. First time doing something like this so I was pretty happy with the results but I still have a lot to work on.
