Workout today! Pretty much the first time doing speed work since Monday last week, haha. 2 mile progressive tempo on the track. Went through the first mile on pace around 5:00, then dropped back a little bit on the second mile. I was really feeling it on those last couple laps, haha! Finished off with 4x150 strides.
It was a good push for me, and it's helping my endurance. I stayed in it for the first mile and even led the 4th lap (we took turns leading, sort of) and kept us on pace. Also, I responded well after the tempo and finished strong with some good strides.
I think one improvement could be to push through the pain when there's a change of pace and fighting to stick with the pack.
