Grew up in St. George, UT where I ran at Desert Hills High School from 2012-2015. I spent the next 2 years in Rancagua, Chile as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 

Senior and member of the men's track and cross country teams at Utah Valley University. President/Founder of Mongoose Elite.

Today was another 8 miler, it was a lot easier today though because we dropped our pace down a little bit and I was already used to the longer distance. Two-a-days again today so another 3 miles.

Today we did 7 miles total (3 mile warm up, 6x2:00 at race pace with a 2:00 recovery, then a cool down to get to 7.) It was a pretty tough workout but it was great afterwards because we got to sit in the ice bath. 3 miles easy again for two-a-days in the afternoon.

Easy 4 this morning, then went to our team's car wash fundraiser. We had a pretty good turnout and I had fun washing cars with the team. After that, a few of us ran with Coach for an easy 3 miles. It was really hot outside this afternoon but luckily we ran by my grandma's house and she gave us some water.

Today we did our first 10 mile run of the season. We did a 6 mile warm up then went straight into a 2 mile tempo run and then a 2 mile cool down. It was a really good workout today and we had some nice cloud cover so it stayed pretty cool.

Today was our first official team practice. In the morning we did an easy 3 miles. For our afternoon run we did 7 miles total (2.5 mile warm up, 4x3:00 hard w/ 3:00 recovery, cool down to get mileage). It was a scorcher for the first 3, but we got a little cloud cover on our last one. It wasn't too bad for our first hard afternoon workout.

Great 10 mile run this morning with the A group boys up at Pine Valley this morning. It was really nice to get out of the heat. A great run to cap off a great week of cross country.

Easy 3 this morning. Tough workout in the afternoon. 6.75 total (2 mile warm up, 6x1000m at race pace at the dirt by Hidden Valley, cool down). The workout wasn't as tough as the head wind for the first 500m. Still a good workout though and we gutted it out.

Race day today at the Hurricane Invite. 5.1 miles total with the 1 mile warm up and cool down. I felt pretty good today and I think I improved on my time from last week. I got the same time last week but it was a shorter course. It’s going to be a good week of practice leading up to next week’s meet at SUU. I wonder if I’ll see Cam Levins?

Race today with 1 mile warm up and cool down. I was really looking forward to this race and the team did great. All four of the teams did really well, especially the varsity boys who took 1st overall. It wasn't a very good race for me but I still have a lot of room to improve. It was a very tiring week so I'll need to get my rest so I can start up again on Monday and hopefully improve by next race in about two weeks.

3 in the morning. In the afternoon we did 9 total (2.5 mile warm up to dirt by Industrial Park, 6x1000m repeats, cool down back to school). Very hot again today. I don't know if it's just a hot week but the past couple of runs have really been hard on my legs. I also have had very little energy and have been experiencing shortness of breath during our workouts. I thought it might be water but I drink 4 water bottles during school. I'm getting a fair amout of sleep too. I think I might just be exhausted from school and what not.

I took this morning off because I was feeling exhausted and I could hardly get any sleep last night. In the afternoon we did 6.5 total (3 mile warmup, 4x2:00 hard w/1:00 recovery, 5x400m w/30 sec recovery, .5 mile cool down) on the dirt and grass at Bloomington Park. I felt a lot better today even though it was still pretty hot.

Ran 6 this morning with Coach and Brigham. We weren't going to do a morning run but Brigham had work and I was leaving after school to watch my sister run in her first college race. It turned out that I wasn't going to leave until like 6:30 so I ran just an easy 3 in the afternoon on the trails by the Thatcher's house.
