Deadlifts.&nbsp;Went to Diamond Valley later with some pals to slide down a volcano for one last adventure before I head off to college. It was super fun! I made it back just before the high school team practice, but ended up getting there a little late. Coach Goulding pointed me in the right direction, and&nbsp;I turned toward the Spectrum but the team had headed out to Little Valley. I only went 4 and got back just before them. Did core and stretched a little, then a few more with Coach and Ben right after. Legs were a little sore.&nbsp;</p> Fri, 05 Jan 2018 07:00:00 Thu, Jan 04, 2018 <p>Did the Kosmin test with the team at the high school. It went alright, and it was good to get some turnover because I&#39;ve basically just been doing easy mileage since the beginning of October. So the Kosmin test is 60 sec all out, 3 min rest, 60 sec all out, 2 min rest, 60 sec all out, 1 min rest. Then your 1500m time can be predicted using your total distance and some equation thing. I made it about 1500m which gives me a predicted 1500m time of 4:17, which isn&#39;t great but istn&#39;t too bad either for not doing much running lately and 0 speed work. Felt good except for a little tightness in my hammies/hips. Later I balled hard with some high school pals. I&#39;ve had some lower leg/hip pain and haven&#39;t been taking care of the little things so that kind of put me in a funk, but it&#39;s a new year and a fresh start! This will be my last week down here in STG before heading up to Orem!</p> <p>AM- Felt really good during my run, no aches or pains, unless the cold just numbed my legs so much that I didn&#39;t feel them, haha. About 3.85 because I left my house going the wrong way to the middle school and was already 400m into the run before I realized it, haha. Weights at the middle school. Squats, no time for arm stuff bc of some stomach problems. I was going to do a little more but the back inside of my left knee was way tight and made my run in the morning a little uncomfortable. I stretched and rolled out later.</p> Mon, 18 Dec 2017 07:00:00 Sat, Dec 16, 2017 <p>10 easy in the afternoon. Really nice day for a run! I did the same 10 mike loop that I did a couple weeks ago but I changed up the finish a little. I felt good through 3 miles then I started to get a little tight in my left hip/glute&nbsp;and calf. The overall pace was just a little slower than last time but I&rsquo;ve kind of had an off couple of weeks and this was my first week back in the weight room.
