No morning run again. Wanted to get some extra sleep with the race later today and being sick.

Our school is hosting a multi and distance carnival meet, and it's a qualifying meet so Coach had us run the 3200 to get it qualified and out of the way early. We got to run at around 8:30pm under the lights so that was pretty sweet. The weather was pretty darn near perfect too, but it was super dusty from the wind earlier today. You couldn't even see Pine Valley through the dust. The whole thing was super nonchalant, just being on our track and with mostly just PV and DH guys. Mentally I think it felt more like a tempo workout than a race. We went out a little slow, 2:32-33 for the first 800, but picked it up and we were about right on at the 1600. I just stayed relaxed and hit 1:15s for the next few laps and picked it up a little on the last. Ended up qualifying with a few seconds to spare. Wasn't too stressed about place or anything, just wanted to hit the qualifying time, so it was a pretty good race. I have mixed feelings about the 3200.
